DJ AO

Aurum Oro, which translates to “GOLD GOLD”, is a
Producer, DJ, and Songwriter whose music can best be
described as “Brat Trap”. As a self produced musician,
every track that AO releases is a unique blend of poppy
synths, soul shaking 808’s, and sickeningly sweet vocals

that serve her fans an auditory experience only she can
provide. The perpetually nomadic songstress has found
success on the global stage, and an active fan base in
every country she’s visited– including Serbia, Hungary,
and South Africa. Recently returned from a two year
residency in Mexico City, DJ AO is currently traveling the
United States playing to new faces in new places. She is
best known for bringing the “ratchet” vibes to the party,
and prides herself on creating a safe space of expression
and release for femme and queer folx with her music
selection. She floats between Hip Hop, House, RnB, Tech
House, and Jersey Club as her signature genres.

BOUNCE HOUSE is an eclectic mashup of high energy house genres infused with Hip Hop and R&B. This is DJ AO’s Blaq Planet Pride 2024 set, performed in Portland, OR. This entire set is a fast tempo collection aimed to make you BOUNCE; traversing from Jersey Club, to Tech House, to Afro Tech, to Baile Funk.

By far, one of the most unique aspects of Aurum’s personal brand, is the creative direction behind it. As a self taught graphic designer, animator, video editor, and hair/makeup artist; AO takes full creative control for the direction and rollout of every personal project she releases. Her identity as an internet “It Girl” shines fully in the theme and style of content she creates around her music. Her alternative aesthetic paired with bold visuals, nostalgic references, and dynamic animation are a core component to every release.
